Intro

Little Hall's Pond Cay is Depp's private island in the Exumas. Three distinct events there were testified to at trial. In July 2013, per Heard's account, Depp strangled her during a yacht trip while his daughter Lily-Rose was present — the episode around which Heard quoted Depp as saying he could "fucking kill" her and that she was an embarrassment. In August 2014, Dr. David Kipper and nurse Debbie Lloyd supervised an on-island detox of Depp from the opioid Roxicodone, with Lloyd stationed 5–10 minutes from Depp's residence by John Deere tractor and in constant text contact with Heard. Kipper testified he never witnessed Depp abuse Heard during that stay, and that Heard did not seek medical attention for any injuries; Heard's counter-account includes an alleged slap during detox hallucinations. And in February 2015, the couple's wedding celebration took place on the island — described by Gina Deuters as rushed, predominantly Heard's event.
